It was another week of laughs on The Chris Show. In What Year Was It, Charles from Store 1486 in Farmville, Virginia, guessed correctly and left a sweet shoutout to the AP team and his entire crew. Hailing from Store 4288 in Broomfield, Colorado, was Andrew, and he chimed in with praise for Eric and Mitch who were on the last break of the day. Whenever you need a pep talk, Kirby Gwen is the girl to talk you up. She started the “brand new week with brand new energy,” sharing the good vibes with all of her listeners. Several new associates were invited to the KG Birthday Club, including Mick from Store 121 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Coach Chris from Store 2628 in Lexington, Kentucky; and Coach Kerry from Store 1276 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. And Anna from Store 5854 in Miami, Florida, received congratulations for a different milestone: 10 years at Walmart! She earned a much-deserved “You Glow Girl” kudos from Kirby. Finally, Kirby LOL’ed at a science joke from Meg and the CAP 1 team from Store 5629 in Eureka, California. Tune in for more good times.

What a week for Bo, who heard shoutouts from all over! The first came from everybody’s buddy, Dwayne, at Store 3529 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He left a big impression after he shouted out every associate at his store. And don’t miss the return of Downtown Sheila Brown, a Bo Show legend, who called to catch up and leave a sweet shoutout for her friends at Store 632 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In other news, the Impossible Question of the Day was vexing indeed. It asked, “What gets wetter the more it dries?” In Milestone Minute, we celebrated Gary from Store 4187 in Florence, Alabama, and Danny from Club 8175 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for 25 years with Walmart! It might be August, but did someone say jingle bells? Eager to display her cheery spirit, Jamie from Store 153 in New Albany, Mississippi, requested some holiday music to match her festive outfits. (She could be onto something here.) Roxana from Store 2215 in Darien, Illinois, gave Chris an unexpected recommendation in the segment “On the Road Again.” Everyone was surprised to hear her shout out a national pizza chain – it’s not even deep dish. The Bo Show had a busy week! Bo heard from associates around the world of Walmart, starting with Keith from Store 3487 in Detroit, Michigan, who left a shoutout for fellow associates Tasha and Nick! And Tiffany from Club 8253 in Jacksonville, Florida, became the Sam’s Club Associate Caller of the Day after she taught Bo how to properly say Duval! In other news, the Impossible Question of the Day kept associates guessing! It asked, “What belongs to you but get used by everyone else more than you?” You’ll have to tune in to hear the answer. In Milestone Minute, we celebrated Beverly from Store 505 in Deridder, Louisiana, for 35 years with Walmart! We also celebrated Jason from Club 6781 in Keller, Texas, for 30 years and Robert from Store 994 in New Port Richey, Florida, for 25 years! It was so cool having Jay Leno join The Huddle. He’s a famous comedian, television host, writer, and supplier for Walmart! They were in Michigan for the Woodward Dream Cruise which is North America’s largest celebration of automotive culture - and, of course, Mr. Sam’s truck made an appearance. Jay is passionate about cars and started his own line of car care products called “Jay Leno’s Garage” about a decade ago. His items are developed, made and shipped from the U.S. and have been on our store shelves for a couple of years now. Listen to this new episode to hear Jay’s advice on how to keep innovating, make products that can reach more people, and ultimately - deliver and care for each customer.

What a week for Kirby Gwen, who made more friends to add to the roster! She chatted with Sarah, who she met at the Holiday Meeting, to share some mutual words of love and encouragement. Fresh off a fantastic week at Walmart’s Holiday Meeting, the team was excited to play What Year Was It? From the iconic film Grease and Van Halen’s debut to Ben & Jerry’s first ice cream shop, 1978 was truly a memorable year. Even more memorable was Clinton from Store 592 in Derby, Kansas, guessing the answer correctly while giving a shoutout to his whole store! Speaking of years, Jasmine from Store 199 in Lincoln, Illinois, called in to celebrate her nine-year wedding anniversary with her husband and fellow associate Jeff. Congrats to the happy couple! It’s been such a great week in Denver, CO, connecting with our teams at the Walmart U.S. Holiday Meeting! Getting to talk items, prepare for the upcoming season, and spend time with associates in person is always energizing - especially when they’re as passionate as Leidy Diaz. Leidy is the Store Manager at 2090 in Franklin, NJ. She moved to America from Colombia at 19 years old, has been with the company three years, and has been serving as SM for about a year. This was her first time coming to the Holiday meeting, and she loved getting to share experiences with fellow managers from across the country.
