The teaching in scripture is we are not to live in isolation. The Bible teaches that we live community. We are a part of a priesthood (I Peter 2:9).

What is passion? Passion can be a negative trait like an outburst of violent anger. Today we are defining passion as a strong, extravagant fondness and enthusiasm for God. To have passion for God is to have love for him. It is the greatest love we have.

The Holy SPirit is non other than "God with us!" Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father and, as promised, the people (believers, Christians today) would not be left alone.

How many thousands of times did the cry for help go out in Huston, TX, this past week? Listen closely, we can almost hear the cry, “Help, Help, Please, Someone help me!”

The Holy Spirit, God’s gift to every believer, is the One who will help us and enable us to live beyond our means.

Reading Nahum 1, we discover so many things about God. He is Judge. He is jealous. He is avenging. He is wrathful. God is slow to anger and great in power. He will punish the guilty. God is an indignant judge.

All kingdoms connected to the world are shakable: communism, capitalism, self, and health. The Kingdom of God is unshakable.

As long as we obey God, we will be in the center of His hand. God will be responsible for us.

For several weeks we have been looking at characteristics of God. For the next two weeks, we will study about God's revealing characteristics. He is all about revealing His plan.
