Leapers EP#2

There was a shirt I wore last year that got plenty of compliments. It was a white shirt with only two words on it: “diversity matters.” This caught the attention of many people and I had always asked myself why. The word "diversity" is interesting because it can produce multiple definitions that can mean something different for everyone. That's why I became incredibly interested in talking to diverse people because I figured that I’d learn a multitude of topics in one sitting. Nic Patino is one of those individuals that you could ask for advice on a specific area in your life, and come out of the conversation with a refreshed view of not only the topic at hand but the approach you may take towards many things. When one tries to make sense of their life without dismissing certain scenarios as "coincidences," many instances can be perceived as some sort of game that is based on demonstrating the connectivity between strangers. Whatever force one believes is behind uniting people, I certainly can prove that there are obvious signs that suggest why individuals came across each other in the timing necessary for their own growth. This episode is built upon the discernment that Valery and Zhara had when they noticed what game pieces were moved in order for them to encounter one another.

Leapers #1

Leapers is a series of episodes on Wanderer Impulse that represents the perpetual mindset of taking chances towards any endeavor with pure faith in oneself. “Leapers,” are people who choose to listen to their inner guidance regardless of what is traditionally promoted to follow or is expected of them. Many wish to aspire towards something but they may not know what to do. Each guest on this series can aid in the process of self-discovery with unique insights into their endeavors, and also demonstrate the paths that led them to uncover their passions. The discussions in this series are based on promoting support and encouragement towards anyone paving a personalized path towards an authentic life, even if it means to be on the road less traveled. These conversations are focused on individuals who have, want, or are, in the process of taking leaps of faith towards their interests, even if fear comes along with every jump.

There’s certain captivation regarding documentaries. Sometimes they can blur the lines between what various perceptions one has of life, and some people can agree that watching documentation of a person's reality can inspire us to make a film out of some aspects of our lives. Nowadays if you got a camera or a mic nearby, there’s a possibility that an audience can come across a part of you. This episode is dedicated to everyone not only ADHDers, it aims to encourage documentation of any journey that will promote righteous growth and a look at my experiences with having ADHD.

It all began at the Tagus River where I tried to convince my sister that my spontaneity is not ONLY due to my restlessness but instead it’s also a way of displaying my certain addiction of overcoming fear. I carry that approach towards travel and many others are beginning to do the same now more than ever since the symptoms of the new age of exploration are here! More and more people are joining the modern travel revolution and noticing the crucial role that unfamiliar lands and diverse humans play in self-discovery.

The chosen one narrative tends to be misunderstood, especially by the minds of people who believe they’re not special enough to live their most authentic life. This episode explores how everyone is chosen to be the protagonist of their reality, and how adversity plays a crucial role in understanding that one is the main character of their own story.

After finding a connection with two unrelated events and stories that had to do with the Azores, I was hooked on figuring out where more of my digging could lead to. There were no coincidences here, neither did I believe in them anymore.  I spent three months connecting dot after dot regarding this archipelago,  and I found many relations of my being with just about everything. An unexpected event occurred that led me to release this long-awaited episode, I now share where my curiosity struck gold in the Azores . . . there's something in the works in this place and it carries stories of interest.

A vintage shirt, my grandma playing Sudoku, and a mesmerizing picture helped me arrive at the Amalfi Coast. Being in Italy was like staying in an open 24/7 art museum, where you are able to enter the art and become part of whatever story the paintings have created. Come ride the vibration of my words as if you're meandering through the blue ribbon drive along Costiera Amalfitana.
