Have you ever found yourself overwhelmed by all the options - and so you do nothing? That was where I found myself leading up to this interview, before realizing that this is a problem I frequently see with clients who are trying to figure out what to focus on and where to start when building a better workplace culture.
I give the same answer to them every time - start with the data.
I figured this is the best place for me to start, as well. So today, I’ll be sharing the seven data sources you should consider when undertaking an Employee Feedback Audit!

There is no one I would be more excited to host on my first-ever guest episode than Lois Weinblatt, founder of True North Visionaries. Luckily for me and you, she is exactly who I had the pleasure of sitting down with for our inaugural interview on the Want to Work There podcast!
Lois has forever changed the way I think about company vision... no small feat. Today she’ll be sharing the framework that’s helped numerous companies rethink how they see and use company vision, AND a step-by-step formula for creating your own Minimum Viable Vision (MVV) – something she’s only shared with clients so far!
I could not be more excited that Lois is willing to pull back the curtain on her work and process so that you can benefit from her brilliance in this area.

Welcome back! In today’s episode, I reflect on five core lessons I’ve learned over 10 years of being a remote manager. Managing a team remotely does have its advantages, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. I’ve learned some important lessons the hard way. By sharing, I can hopefully spare you (and your team) from having to experience the same!

Welcome to the very first episode of the Want To Work There podcast!
Today we’ll be talking about what REALLY makes a company a great place to work - and it’s probably not what you think! You’ll get to know me (your host) Jill Felska and why I am so passionate about helping more companies become great places to work.
I’ll also walk you through an exercise that will help you document what your ideal work culture looks like, how close you are to achieving it, and what questions you need to ask in order to either sustain or move closer to your vision.

Company culture is a phrase and concept that’s truly become part of our collective lexicon in the last 20 years. That said, many people still have a really hard time quantifying what it actually is.
Employers will say things like, “we’re a great place to work because we have weekly happy hours, a ping pong table in the break room, and great health insurance.” Unfortunately, these are examples of perks not culture - and at the end of the day culture is what really matters.
My name is Jill Felska and for the last 12 years, I’ve been on a mission to help organizations understand what really makes a company a great place to work - a place that makes people say, “I want to work there!”
While I absolutely love the work I do with individual companies, my ultimate passion is to equip more people with the language and tools they need to create positive workplace change.
My new podcast - Want To Work There - is for those of us who believe a better world of work IS possible, but aren’t exactly sure just how to get there! Together we’ll get curious about the fundamentals that make up non-toxic work environments and you’ll leave each episode with some actionable next steps for bringing this change to your own workplace.
Some of the topics I’m most excited to cover include why you must prioritize stay interviews, how to operationalize company values, the power of team charters, and why a culture committee's job shouldn’t be party planning.
If you’re fired up about creating a better world of work, I hope you’ll tune in and become part of a community of culture catalysts hoping to achieve just that!
