Don't worry Warehouse Lifers (that's what we're now calling our two to three fans), the Warehouse Life Podcast has not gone off the air. Paul, Matt, and Todd have just had a hard time finding their way back to the warehouse recording studio (AKA the desks by the Factory Second Discs rack). One thing after the other like: Paul bartering his microphone for poker chips in Vegas, kept the crew from making their podcast magic.
The guys, however, are back in a big way with a Jumbo sized episode to make up for the lost time. It includes a number of segments including the long awaited interview with legendary disc golf warehouse worker Russell, known for starting the Pumpkin disc and for erecting the "do not flush paper towels" sign in the bathrooms.
Plus, much, much more including the Warehouse Ultimate Frisbee team's monumental win, and in depth look at the palatial Bathroom #1, and an inversion table washes up in the warehouse?
It's all part of must hear podcasting.
Season 2! The Warehouse gang decides to celebrate their return to the internet airwaves in style by recording on location at disc golf's most prestigious event, The Championship!
Inside the famous Old Stone House, the headquarters of the Championship; Todd, Paul, and Matt, outline best selling spectator items on the course like umbrellas and stools and nominate a few more for the future like trash bag ponchos and shovels (why not?).
In this week's Bathroom Topic, the warehouse crew takes a break from investigating the warehouse bathrooms and instead takes a deep dive into the Championship's porta potties.
Plus, Episode 2 has a special Championship guest, who can filet a squirrel in less than 15 seconds (even quicker if the tail isn't bushy).
And of course, the crew discusses why they probably did not play disc golf the weekend prior.
It's all a part of your balanced podcast breakfast.
Filled with plot twists and a possible cliff hanger ending, the final episode of Warehouse Life's Season 1 is a hum-dinger of a finale. Starting out, Todd, Paul, and Matt relive the Miracle on Grass 2021 Pro Worlds finish, which was big-time warehouse watercooler conversation the Monday after it happened.
Matt's Warehouse Disc Golf Fantasy league is in full swing. The guys give the lowdown on the league and why players are severely shunned for lackluster performances.
The Warehouse Hat Day in 2019 was a wild success. Organized by Paul, the crew asks him if more themed days like "Talk in a British Accent Day," are planned for the future.
In the final Bathroom Topic for Season 1, it is discovered that someone apparently left flushable wipes in Bathroom #1 for others to use/enjoy. The crew weighs in on the benefits / pitfalls of using wipes and if wipes are indeed ahead of their time.
It's all part of must-have, nutritional podcasting.
With summer in full swing, the Warehouse Crew takes Episode 4 on location to the climate controlled Warehouse Break Room. Key Advantages here are: plenty of table space, napkins, and plastic cutlery.
The DX Stingray is no Stable Mable, however in the What's in the Warehouse segment, the Warehouse Crew highlights why this gentle soul of a disc needs to be in your bag.
The warehouse bathrooms have never smelled like strawberry shortcake, but in this week's Bathroom Topic, Todd, Paul, and Matt, try to figure out why the area near the bathrooms smells worse than usual.
Ahhh, and it wouldn't be a summer without hearing the jolting shriek of the lower warehouse's a/c as it comes to life every 20 minutes. Fortunately the guys don't hear that in the breakroom this time, but the breakroom's icemaker tries to make up for it.
It's all part of must-hear podcasting.
The Warehouse Crew celebrates 3 episodes without getting shut down and then sits down with hot stamp magician Alex, who is known for his uncanny skill of applying stamps to discs.
Matt , Paul, and Todd, then put on their detective hats during this week's bathroom topic as they try figure out who has been leaving hair clippings in bathroom #1's trashcan and why. Their best guess is that it's human hair.
And, a topic near and dear to everyone in the warehouse, milkshakes, is thoughtfully and thoroughly discussed including why it might not be a good idea to bring a milkshake from lunch back to work with you.
Finally, Todd crosses the finish line in style with his Krispy Kreme challenge. Good news he can still fit in his podcast chair.
It all part of must-hear podcasting.
After successfully recording their first episode, the Warehouse Life Crew suspects they may have gotten their first fan. Spoiler alert, it's one of their family members.
Did you know that a Traveler Portable Basket can slide up to 10 feet? It's possible, if the proper "Traveler Slide" technique is applied while unloading them from the 18-wheeler trailer.
The crew will delve into that as well as this week's bathroom topic, which discusses the dreaded accidental walk-in while taking a dump in a warehouse bathroom. It's a scenario no one wants to find themself in, whether you're the one being walked in on or you're the walk-in-er.
Todd marches on with the Krispy Kreme Challenge, despite the detriment to his arteries and we have an unbelievable guest you have to hear to believe followed by Matt enlightening us about Floor Compound. Just what the hell is it anyway and why is it so essential to the warehouse?
It all adds up to can't miss podcasting.
Well, what do yo know - we have a podcast now. It's the first episode of Warehouse Life in case you've been keeping track.
After getting set up near the Factory Second discs, hosts Matt, Paul, and Todd see who has actually played disc golf over the weekend. News flash: disc golf warehouse workers don't always play disc golf.
Later, they imagine throwing the very overstable Nate Sexton Star Xcaliber and interview featured guest Max Weight, who can never seem to find a disc heavy enough. Todd introduces his calorie laden Krispy Kreme challenge followed by the gang sharing what music they've been listening to that week. Plus, they even ruminate about the Screamin' Seagull as a disc name.
It's all part of your essential podcast diet.
Welcome to the first season of Warehouse Life: the light-hearted podcast about working in a Disc Golf Warehouse.
Podcasting about our fun and sometimes zany work environment is something that we (Matt, Paul, and Todd) have wanted to do for years. But as full time warehouse workers, it's tough to find the time. In fact, it took us so long just to do five episodes, we decided to stop there and call it Season 1.
However, we had a lot of fun with these five episodes and we think you'll make a few audible chuckles or two while listening.
But, before you dive in, we wanted to tell you what this podcast is all about. So check out this quick Season 1 introduction.
