The Slider and The Slide: The conundrum of realizing your being--the totality (minus one critical sliver) of your experience at every level of abstraction-- is nested within a fractal context wherein maker and made, creator and creation are not merely involved in some tangential sense, but rather integrated, inseparable, and contingent.
You can deploy apophatic measures of reason up until the supra-reason is approached. Wonder enters here. Or you cascade back down the slide of consciousness.
We manage a QRD on the excellent film, Pig and find a springboard for a return to Portland, and an entrance into the Father Dilemma. No spoilers. But next episode we'll drop the goodies.
King of Dogs gets a chickenshit 1-star review. The bugle is sounded for your support. We spill the details on a Camp 38 blade design. And we divulge secrets of the symbolism surrounding The Guerrilla Navigator.
In hour two a hasty jaunt through the Ring of Green Jesus Fire and how to get you one. And leading into Criminal of Purpose we drop some high-octane speculation into the Aether Grid, Endophysics, and ask once again: if God, then why evolution?
The circuitous and mirror-like nature of the One apprehending the Many, or of one among the Many appending (if only in the oblique) itself is a phenomenon nested within and reflected amidst the multiplicities of the individual Self.
This is why we burn away everything superfluous and take the Slide. Repeat. This is The Way.
A reading of Corinthians 12 closes the show.
Monstrous, brilliant, and highly formidable guest episodes are lining (stacking) up so we scramble amid the gathering storm clouds to lay-in some heavy-gauge, high-speed subterranean psychic tunnels. Eyes Wide Shut, Blood Meridian, Good/Evil--who tells the story? The ego? What is the ego exactly anyway? Who grabs the centimeter of opportunity? Is he/she/it also The Dreamer? We gone find out.
In hour one we crack into Kubrick's final film and juxtapose it against major Warhorse themes. On order: the elegance of the truth, the Father archetype, form, content, God, The Devil! (We'll get to Cuckoo's Nest someday.) Shoutout to pirate Clark Savage, author of King Of All Things.
Hour two we find the stride and get into Judge Holden, the Orthodox Old Man, McCarthy's confrontation with the Self and the potential coherence available when we destroy the compartmentalization of The Mold.
We round it all out with a QRD on some basic tools appropriate to The Criminal of Purpose, an explication on how to exercise the vestibular system while working agility drills, and a minor clinic in what it looks like to weaponize ambiguity for later use.
The many orphan and oddity pieces fall into place in this episode with respect to a coherent relationship between Xenia, Breathwork, The Hero, Mono-Myth and the Meta Myth. The science meets the mystical and the Great Wall of fluff is bypassed such that we can get down to the reality with respect to the interplay between the levers of your physiology and the intangibles of your Will.
The narrative, properly told, requires preparation, purgation and the paradoxical adoption of both a radical re-embodiment of the image of God and a fearsome immersion in the intricacies of abstracted Logos. No one said this was easy. The question becomes ultimately: do the biggest cowards and weaklings in all history actually win, or do you embrace the discomfort (not even pain most of the time) and reify both your human nature and your relationship with time before the whole thing enters the event horizon of the Singularity/Collapse mythos?
Guess we'll see.
Woven as well: Criminal of Purpose, agility in consideration of longevity, power/endurance ratios and the Confrontation with The Self
Bonafide Warhorse 2022.
You want a story? I'll tell you a story. And that story will be about stories and then I'll tell you how to write one of your own beyond the page--that is, with the stuff of your life-- that so vastly exceeds the possibilities inherent in the modern homogenized corporate model that you'll need to lick toads just to get your shit back together.
The human being requires a teleological explanation, a narrative. Without it, we sink, follow, ossify, or explode. Humility can only be accessed through submission. Without humility, no genuine engagement. Through humility, discovery.
We begin as always in the same place we end: with the breath, with prayer, with ritual. First hour contextualizes "context," and seizes the notion back from the claws of the hollow man. We talk training, weapons, peace, war, and the inescapable prioritization of feeling over reason insofar as the former precedes the latter. And then, we bring back the reins of reason and fit them to an actual piece of work.
In hour two, the esoteric side, we tread into darker territory: inner work, nemesis, leisure, Criminal of Purpose, Dale Cooper, Emily Hightower, Rites and Ritual, Castaneda, Victor Frankl.
There is no other place you'll find this type of mix. Next guest episode soon.
In this episode we visit with Clay Martin, author of Prairie Fire and Concrete Jungle, among others. In addition to a razor-sharp wit and a rare, top-shelf analytical mind, Martin brings a veritable trainload of Special Operations experience to the topic of Collapse.
We discuss Roe v. Wade/gun rights and current SHTF conditions a bit. We focus heavily on critical lessons imparted to men through Martin's non-fiction works. Yes, in addition to all the above, Clay is also writing novels--so we have to distinguish.
Strategy, tactics, logistics, family considerations, intelligence gathering and a great deal more is brought to bear in this highly concentrated exchange.
Clay's books are available on Amazon/Audible--Prairie Fire, Concrete Jungle.
His website: claymartindefense.com
Martin is scheduled to return to Warhorse in a half-moon or so to take stock of the unfolding implosion inevitable after today's announcements and foretold by many over these last few rather rocky years.
