Clouds will linger through parts of northern South Dakota and much of North Dakota on Friday. A slow moving disturbance aloft will bring a chance of showers and some thunderstorms to slowly push eastward across this area during the day. The showers and storms look to move into the Red River Valley later on Friday into Friday night.
Isolated thunderstorms can't be ruled out for the eastern Dakotas and parts of Minnesota on Saturday.
On Sunday, winds will still be out of the south for most of Minnesota. Sustained winds will be close to 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Winds look to shift across central and western parts of the Dakotas.
