Faith and Tragedy for the believer there is always a bottom line, for the prophet Habakkuk he one as well. Wherever you find a Prophet you will find someone who is delivering the message for the Lord. That is, if he is a true prophet, like Habakkuk was. There were problems as Judah was in immorality Wherever you find a Prophet you will find someone who is delivering the message for the Lord. Judgment was coming and it was the prophet who was caught smack dab in the judgment to come.

Habakkuk lived in a world, where Judah refused to repent. He also knew that an enemy was nigh. Babylon [Chaldeans] was rising above the Assyrians and Egypt in power at that time. The world at this time was at war. The threats from the North, Babylon of an invasion was paramount and added to the internal turmoil in Judah.

Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Hab 1:3

For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. Hab 1:6

This is the Fall celebration involving the ‘blowing of trumpets’, and looks forward to another Trumpet that will sound heralding the Second coming of Yeshua to this earth.

During Rosh Hashanah will be coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The whole festival is centered around people to repent, get right with the Father. It centers around getting those people who have procrastinated in these things to get them right with the Father through Yeshua. This also begins the High Holy Days which are the 10 days Rosh Hoshanah to Yom Kippur.

When Israel went into captivity into Babylon they adapted the Babylonian months into their own calendar. Before captivity, they used numbers for the months. Originally, it was the “blowing of Trumpets”, a Shabbat, a memorial, a holy convocation. Today they celebrate Rosh Hashanah in Tisheri, a Babylonian month adapted by Israel; and made it into the New Year. Rosh Hoshanah means “first of the year” or “head of the year”.

Day of Trouble is one step into the Valley of Vision. This vision the Prophet Isaiah saw concerns Judah. But also brings into the future written in the book. Although, a long time ago, we find out that in the nations of men and women; the evil that pulls us from the Lord God has not changed. While the covenant in Isaiah day was from the Sinai covenant and the Abrahamic covenant; there are many things that speak to us. We are in the days of the new covenant and the Spiritual Israel. A calling to Israel of old and a message to the gentiles to come to him; we can find all of it in this book. Behind it is Mercy, Salvation, and the Day of the Lord.

Day of Trouble Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people. We are neither taken off guard nor are we without hope. We are the vangaurds of this new age that prophecy tells us will herald in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. But first a deceiver comes as light and the battle for souls are going on now. In the end, both prophecy and scripture come together in one final truth. It is that truth, to which we are driven to proclaim. A truth that today the world is rejecting, a word that the Apostle Paul calls the ‘love of the truth’!

We discuss the global governance of the Internet, the turning over of NTIA to ICANN and a push for global governance of it means a future of closed, non free speech, and a crackdown by controls that will push against freedoms on the net. In China moms to be find themselves in a position of forced abortions and a continued atheistic Communist government at issue. We are in the last days and it shows it. Moreover, not only can we come bodily into the presence of God through Christ, we are now members of the greater temple of his body. We are now part of his Sukkah. This is a time when we take a period of 7 days and rejoice before the Lord. Many at this build Sukkahs or booths, have evening meals, and read scripture pertaining to this feast. It is a joyous time full of hope as look for the Lord to come and sit on his throne and rule and reign. It is a time when we look forward to our redemption and completion in Yeshua when he comes
