Sealed Vision finds itself included in this chapter for part 67 of Isaiah’s prophetic book. The prophets, seers, religious leaders, and rulers of Judah all had wandered from the Lord. They do not see, nor understand the trouble they are in nor of the prophet Isaiah’s warning. The book of the Law was as a sealed book. They were in a predicament that lead to trouble. Isaiah says to them “Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken but not with strong drink.” We find the same language in Revelation 17 of the harlot with whom the rulers of the earth and its inhabitants “have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication Rev 17:3.” While we maybe more knowledgeable in science, technology and many other things, there is truth here. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. Christians Standing Guard Spiritual Battle

The enemy of the Lord and the enemy of the Lord’s people always asks this question; “who is standing Guard!” The prideful boast always seeks to create doubt, “Who is the Lord that I should obey” is what Pharaoh of Egypt said to Moses.” Sennacherib also boasted saying “Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying; The LORD will deliver us.” The Lord had a commitment to Judah and to Israel his people. He had chosen Jerusalem, Zion the city of God as his own. Yet the people fell away.

Unless there is someone standing Guard, the thief enters in. Who is Standing Guard for your family? For your city? For your Nation?

Hezekiah, though represents a King who also had Isaiah as a major prophet at the time. Hezekiah chose to seek the LORD when threatened by Assyria. Assyria had conquered many lands, kings, and foreign gods. Yet, this pagan king and his army were defeated when he came against Israel. For he made a huge mistake, he blasphemed the LORD, ridiculed the people, and pridefully boasted he would take Jerusalem. This is exactly what nations like Iran are saying today against Israel and her people.

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand? Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

Pentecost Fullness Classic Warn Radio Series

It represented the fruits of the grain harvest and also our Lord who died and was resurrected from the dead. He was the Lamb who took away the sins of the world. He was the first fruits, being raised from the dead. Now he is alive forevermore, Alpha and Omega; and he has the keys to death and hell. Now he has told the Apostles and believers to stay put and wait for the promise for the fullness of what God was doing would arrive.

They had been gathered in the upper room and now were in one accord seeking the Lord. Since they had seen his ascension, they expectedly awaited the promise from on High to be given to them. As well, we need to make sure they understand the #costs which #Christians are going through world-wide.
