I Have Chosen leads the study this week. As we will look at what God has Chosen for His people to do when fasting. Compassion and love instead of stiff-necked religious lifting up their own fake righteousness. The lifting of the head when fasting, posturing their selves to make them look how righteous a thing it is too fast, going without food. All the while nurturing their selves while so many are suffering around them. God wanted his people to help those around them. Jews who suffered, those bound by darkness, and those yoked with wickedness who cannot find peace or joy. To fill the empty bellies, to let the milk of human kindness soothe as a balm of Gilead the souls of the afflicted. It is not to make pretense and lift thyself up as an exalted mountain of righteous ways. Righteous were to understand the love of God and pursue it. In the course of this, healing and rescuing their fellow countrymen from torment and bondage.

I Have Chosen is a phrase which #Isaiah declares of the #Lord that the #truefast for the people is to be. Not just an exercise in futility, but a #workofrighteousness. The fast, the #humbling of the #soul through #abstinence of #food is not just what the Lord wanted. It was to be a true work of righteousness as opposed to #hypocriticalfasting and being seen of men. Righteous Reign Appears in the latest chapter of #Isaiah. This is chapter 32 and part 80. The #judgments of the #LORD are centered in His #justice and righteousness. There are many who attacked our God and his judgments defiantly. However, I have taught throughout this that the judgments are #redemptive. Even in the New Testament, the phrase “as many as I love I rebuke and Chasten, be Zealous; therefore and Repent.” This phrase is from #Revelation 3:19 in a letter to the Laodicean church. In time though, #Judah will forget this and judgment at the hands of the Lord will send Babylon to send Judah into captivity. That too, will be justice, righteousness, and redemptive.

Righteous Judgment – Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt79 on Battle Lines

Righteous Justice arrives at part 79 in our current study of Isaiah’s prophetic book. We are entering chapter 32 of Isaiah where the Kingdom of Assyria or Assyrian is and has been a threat the entire region. Although the kingdom is threatening Jerusalem and at its gate; we know God defends Jerusalem. But the chapter leads us through several judgments and prophetic assessments. It is amazing how these correlates to our troubles today. Enemies at the gate is a warning and a message for Judah to draw close to Him and not seek after other gods or the arm of the flesh to depend on. For the Lord is their defense. World Events Prophecy Classic Warn Radio brings to the forefront the go in the commission given to us by Jesus. He begins with saying “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”! That is “All Power”! We are to go, teach, baptize, and know that the Lord is with those who do go always, even to the end of the world. We are in those end of days and as never before Christian persecution is ongoing. But we also find many coming to Christ, even in areas where the Christian gospel is forbidden. Muslims, Hindus, and others are coming to the Lord. In spite of death, persecution, and leaders of nations who hate Christ and the gospel; the new and the redeeming aspect of the Christ who died for all men continues to work miracles in the hearts of those who want the truth.

It is to that end that at the WIBR/WARN Radio we work to get this gospel out through our programs and websites.
