Abundant Pardon finds its way in Isaiah this week. The target is the call for the wicked to forsake his wickedness and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Keeping the Watch can be a lonely duty. In the service there are watches around the clock. Being on guard, on the alert; all while others sleep and get rest. Today we understand the Lords warning that we must be alert, on guard, and be prepared to stand against the enemy. The Lord is coming and among all our discipleship duties, the main one is not forsaking our Love for the Lord. This translates into watching for Him, wanting to be with our Lord God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in His Kingdom. The world watches and longs for many things; we need to long for only one; our redeemer and Lord. Yet Keeping the Watch is something that people get weary over. It can be boring, nothing happening. For the Lord delays his coming, to the second or third watches. So be ready for in such an hour your Lord comes.

Counsel and Judgment comes into the real world today as we follow Judah amidst a calamity that came upon them. Their counsel from those around the king of Judah came from the religious to the political spectrums in Judah. The advice they received guided them in their final Judgment what to do. This verdict or decision is what leads the Prophet Isaiah to declare Woe to the rebellious children. They took counsel but not of the Lord. Those in Judah made decisions to get Egypt to help and refused counsel of the Lord. Thus, the LORD said of them “that take counsel, but not of me! Jeremiah later would write as he also dealt with a stubborn Judah “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD” Jeremiah 17:5. Armour of Light faces off against the #worksofdarkness. We can literally see that battle globally. But in #America, the works of darkness are creating #chaos in many liberal run cities. We hear almost daily of stores and companies moving out of liberal blue states. All the while woke #politicians fancy themselves as victors while their interpretation of #freedom and #responsibilities resemble more like an outdoor toilet that is leaking badly. There is a reason for such trouble, drug use, and chaos. This is the lack of common sense and morals. In addition, today in America the black cloud of #darkness is penetrating America and the world at a rapid pace. In #Revelation #ThroneofIniquity part 12 we see the admonition by the Apostle Paul to “put on the #armoroflight.”
