As we finish the “First Steps” series we will take a look at the strategy of WWBC. We have been looking at the why of what we do. In this message we look at the how of what we do. Simply put we are to love God and love others. We will look at how we believe that is best done.

What is the church? In this message we will look at four images the New Testament uses to describe the church. As we look at these images we will begin to understand why we “do” church the way we do. We will also begin to understand our individual role in the church.

Some Churches have sacraments, others have ordinances. An ordinance is something that is believed to have been ordained by a deity. At WWBC we practice two ordinances, Baptism, and The Lord’s Supper. In this message we look at what they are and why we do them.

The first step in a person’s journey to become a disciple of Jesus is the “Step of Faith.” The step of faith is also to first step toward church membership. The church is the “body of Christ” the “family of God.” So to be a part of the church it is by necessity vital to have placed one’s faith in Christ. This message will guide you in making the most important step in your life,the “Step of Faith.”

“Away In A Manger” is one of our most loved carols. It is especially popular among children. It was once believed to have been written by Martin Luther as a lullaby for his children. The song emphasizes the location of Jesus’ birth. In this message we are going to deal with the question; Why a manger?

O Come All Ye Faithful is one of the great worship carols of Christmas. It is not unlike the angel’s first announcement of the birth of the Savior to the shepherds. In this message we will look at the angel’s words for the shepherds in Luke 2:10-11. Hopefully we too will bow at the manger. O come let us adore Him!

Oh Holy Night stirs the emotions as it describes the hope we have in Jesus. One line in the carol says that “the weary world rejoices.” In this message we will look at this great hope in the words of the Bible.

In this final message of the series we will take a look and the closing verses in Ephesians chapter 2. We will see that as believers we who were once far from Christ have been brought near to Him. Then we will examine several implications of that great truth.

In parts 1 & 2 of this series we have taken a look at the dire situation of those who are “lost.” But this week we take a dramatic turn and begin to take a look at what God had done for us in our Salvation. Ephesians 2:4-10 is a fabulous description of what God had done for us.

Paul goes into great detail in Ephesians 2:11-12 describing what “lostness” looks like. In this message we will take a look at what is really going on in the life of a person who is without Christ. What does it really mean to be lost?
