In this first message of the series we will see that without Christ people are DEAD. It sounds pretty drastic but it is a consistent theme throughout the new testament. We will see what it means to be DEAD.

When the choices are so bad and the campaign has been so nasty why should a believer vote? To answer this question we will look at a portion of the most famous sermon of all time. What believers do in the polling booth really matters. This year more than ever your vote counts.

“When all else fails, pray.” The is just the opposite of how it should be but unfortunately it is often people’s strategy. When training Timothy, Paul taught him to pray for everyone but especially government leaders. We too should be praying for our government. There is great power in prayer. We will look at this important strategy in this message.

Obligations. We all have them. We have family obligations, financial obligations, spiritual obligations. You get the idea. But we also have obligations toward our government. We continue this week looking at the thirteenth chapter of Romans. Paul outlines for us our obligations to the government. Some may even surprise you.

2016 is a Presidential Election year. Should you vote? Will it do any good? We are not looking at politics in this series but what the Bible has to say about our relationship to our government. Ultimately we will see why it’s important that we all vote.

Is there a time limit on how long we should STAND? In this message we will look and one of the favorite stories in the Bible, Daniel in the lion’s den. Here we see a picture of an old man who has stood strong for a lifetime. We will try to understand how he was able to stand strong and why it matters.

Most people are pretty good at letting people know what they STAND against. In fact believers are known better for what they are against than what they are four. But the young men of the book of Daniel stood for something. In this message we will look at what we stand for and how to do it.

With all that is happening these days with rapid moral change and political uncertainty believers wonder if they should take a stand. In the Bible Daniel took a courageous stand. In this message we will examine this story in Daniel chapter 4 and learn about taking a stand.
