In their second visit to the synagogue in Pisidian Antioch Paul and Barnabas stirred up quite a controversy. Jewish leaders were filled with jealousy because so many had come out to see and hear them. In addition when the Jews rejected the gospel Paul turned from them to the gentiles. The result was many gentiles coming to faith.

As the mission continues Paul and company travel to the mainland and continue to spread the gospel. Now we begin to see the mission team face some challenges. As we look at this passage we will find lessons they hold for us today.
