A recent military study should be a big wakeup call for one of the BIGGEST mistakes I see over and over again when building out your bugout bag... and I have some fast ways you can transform your current gear from a "deadly fail" to a "streamlined success".

The best way to prepare is to read the signs of what's to come and do whatever is needed to prepare now for what you and your family may see.

And for me... there are 5 things that have me quite worried - and I'll share what I'm doing to prepare myself and my family for the possibility of what I'm seeing.

"I bitched out!"

I could hear the disappointment in my 20 y.o. son's voice as he shared with me how he dealt with an aggressive stranger confronting him at the local gas station.

Although it's not the best terminology for submitting to the fear of being beat up and "standing down" - it's also not an uncommon feeling for those who have been face-to-face with someone who got the best of them.

And trust me... I know it from personal experience!

I'll share his story... as well as my 3- part advice for how to control fear in any situation - and come out the other side with your pride (and your life!) intact.

I get asked this question a LOT...

"If I'm new to shooting, what's the best handgun for me to buy?"

Well actually, a question that came in last week for our Tacti-Cool Taco Tuesday livestream, from Emily of Illinois, took things to a whole new level as she qualified herself as having "smaller hands".

This is a very common concern for both men and women who are of a smaller stature, or are older and don't have great hand strength.

I think my answer to Emily's question will be a bit of a surprise for many of you... and I'll give you some in-depth info on how YOU can decide on your first handgun - or how to respond to others who may ask you this question.

My 11 year old YouTube video on "Why you should NOT punch your attacker in a real street fight" has gone viral AGAIN with over 1.5 million views in just the last month!

Now I realize this bunched up a LOT of panties in the butt cracks of many a martial artist, boxer, and MMA fighter out there when I released it.

In fact, to date, it has over 23,000 comments on the video - both FOR and AGAINST my reasoning.

So this week, I've pulled out 7 of the most legitimate arguments against my "never punch" theory and I'll give a common sense reply that will hopefully FINALLY convince the doubters out there!
