Review of the Tier 1 axis and Tier 1 aegis concealed carry holster I choose for my everday carry (EDC). The Tier 1 holster is for appendix carry, however they have holsters for 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock on their website. This concealed carry holster has a detachable magazine holster and operates ona. 2 clip system. The Tier 1 is optic and light compatible, and 1 holster can fit many different guns in the same family because of it's open bottom, i.e: glock 17, 19, 26, 34. The height and retention is adjustable.

Today my wife went outside and noticed that the neighbor's front door was wide open even though they were clearly not home. What should a good, armed neighbor do? What would you do? CLEAR!!!! Just kidding. After Mrs. Poet and I made a fun little intro, I talked about what my response was to this potential burglary and I weigh out different options. Remember, your life is worth more than possessions, so don't risk your life for your stuff or your neighbor's stuff! What would you do if you came home to find your door kicked in with a possible person inside? Make a game plan before you ever get in the situation. Know the difference in tactical response to a burglary and a home invasion.

There are many different martial arts - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Aikido, Karate, etc., but no martial art can possibly compare to Chub-Jitsu and Kung Jitsu. These forms of martial arts are not well known, but there are no other systems designed to work weapon retention using your fat. Chub Jitsu advances all the way to 3rd stripe Fusia Belt, and once you master it, you will no longer need retention on your firearm at all. The fatness does it all (and knowing how to use the aforementioned fatness). Kung Jitsu is designed for the completely untrained to have full freedom in form without actual training. Kung Jitsu allows you to immediately claim expertise even when you have none. This form is highly respected by the individual that declares it for themselves.

Training simulators provide INCREDIBLE training that is extremely difficult to get anywhere else. They can allow you to not only get countless dry-fire repetitions in for draws, target transitions, tracking targets, etc., but they can also allow you to simulates real world fights. The judgmental shooting scenarios force you to see and think fast as you struggle to understand what is happening and then make a quick decision based on what is moral, legal, and tactically sound. This is a serious joke of a drill in that it is of course ridiculous, but it is certainly helpful in cultivating the type of aggression needed to survive an attack from an ambushing predator. Bad guys ambush with incredible violence in a fraction of a second, and we must respond in kind if we hope to keep from being victims. This drill is not about martial arts (though skilled technique is of crucial importance), rather it is about training that inner rage button that good protectors (police, military, or responsible citizens) must possess.
