Getting off the 'x' of moving offline during a gun fight is a popular topic in the world of firearms, but not all movement is good movement. Sometimes, if we are not careful, we can end up denegrating our movements into silly, little range games that put us in real-world jeopardy. Here is a wake up call to think about explosive, quick movement during violent encounters. Police are routinely taught to step offline and are tested on this in their POST and Leosa qualifications, and while I’m thrilled at our cops getting offline, we need a wake up call for our LE professionals so they realize 1 step doesn’t accomplish what they hope.

As political opportunists start spinning stories on either side concerning gun control and prevention, we Americans are left with the question ‘what can we do to prevent this in the future?’ A couple of things spring to mind. Firstly, do not say this killers name. Do not look into his background. Do not scratch that curious itch to find out why they snapped. Let authorities ask such questions while we realize that the one thing these crazy killers want is the attention we give them in the aftermath of their murderous rampages. Secondly, be ready to meet violence with violence as living protectors. Warrior Poets, be ready to sacrifice and defend those who need us in this crazy world that seems to be getting worse.

I wanted to try to buy an AR-15 and put all the accessories on it like a sling, red dot sight, BUIS, flashlight, etc and have the total cost come out under $1,000.
