There are a lot of different ways to carry concealed and a lot of factors that contribute to a good selection that is right for you. I like the appendix carry, and I know a lot of great shooters that don't. Things such as body type, what you usually wear, what type of firearm, etc. all contribute to finding the right way to carry.

This is my EDC holster which normally carries a Glock 17, 19, or 23. This holster called the Sidecar by T-rex Arms is made of kydex and designed appendix carry. The holster can be adjusted in retention and the loops can be adjusted to change the height of the holster relative to your belt. The holster carries an extra magazine and it can also take a gun with an RDS sight such as an RMR or Aimpoint T1. The Sidecar holster can also be ordered to work with an Inforce APL light, a Surefire x300, a Streamlight TLR, etc. The holster also rocks a raptor claw which helps push the holster closer to the body to minimize printing making it awesome to conceal even wearing a simple T shirt.

Ep.2 of SITUATIONAL AWARENESS is about how to spot threats in advance by picking up on threat threat indicators. The great danger is, that criminals and terrorists initiate attacks, so law enforcement, soldiers, or civilians have to react - meaning, they have the element of surprise and get to draw the 'first blood' so to speak. Because our chances of winning a fight and avoiding becoming a victim is greatly diminished if we are not already ready for an attack, we must put great effort, preparation, and thought into spotting attacks before they occur. The good news is that criminals and terrorists give off little clues about their next moves and intentions that someone who is paying attention can pick up on. This video details a handful of these different threat indicators so that those watching will be able to pick up on warning signs. Clenched fists, bladed stances, fixed stares, cold sweats, etc. are all examples of some of the threat indicators discussed in this video.

My EDC (Every day Carry) bag and contents. This bag goes with me everywhere I go and is NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH A BUGOUT BAG OR GO BAG (which I have ready to go and I will more than likely do a video on in the future). That being said, my goal here is not the same as a survivalist or a prepper, rather it is to cover my bases so I pull some of what I just need for work and everyday stuff, mixed with some survival elements, and mixed with guns, gear, and ammo.
