Hamas is delusional about what the future may entail, namely that Israel will disappear. BUT - They are realistic. They fully understand that they cannot defeat Israel in a military confrontation! They cannot defeat us at war!  So, what were they thinking?   They honestly believe that over time, they can defeat  Israel using psychological terror, creating national trauma that will slowly but surely rip away at the seams of the society, Unraveling it to the point in which the Israeli society will Collapse, implode. Ironically The same psychological terror these groups think will be their means
