There’s a strong focus on character development and we might’ve even found ourselves feeling a little sympathy for a certain Firecracker. We get into which character needs to take The Deep out for good, who we think will actually make it out alive, and we also share our thoughts on the cancellation of Gen V. Be sure to follow, subscribe, and drop your thoughts in the comments.

From the actors we’ve lost between Seasons 2 and 3 to Labrinth not being part of the final season, there’s a lot to unpack, especially with Rue and all of her side quests. We get into which storyline feels the weakest, the realities of being a drug mule, and even ask the wild question: would you let your spouse start an OnlyFans to pay for wedding decorations? We also take a closer look at Rue’s character development, are things finally on track? And most importantly, will we get justice for Matty? A lot of questions… and we’re looking for answers.

We’re closing out our Invincible Season 4 Side Quest Reviews with this epic quote, “You do not have a choice. And yet, you must still make one.” — Thragg
What a ride this season has been. Did you enjoy the finale? Let us know in the comments. We brought in our brothers Ivy and Anthony (Talking Ish: A Podcast Amongst Friends) to break it all down, Mark’s trauma, an update on Eve, Cecil’s reunion with Nolan, and the deal Mark made with the devil… not the one from the previous episode, but the actual devil, Thragg. We cover it all and of course… Was It Good Though??
For Episode 202, we’re heading to another galaxy with Mario and Luigi. That’s right, we had to dive into the latest from the Nintendo world with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. We’re joined by Lisa (ReelMovieLovers) and Dave (Brickwall Review) to break it all down. We show love to the one and only Jake Black for what he brings to Bowser, and we get into a big discussion about the film’s pacing, did it try to do too much, or did it strike the right balance? We were split on that one, so we want to hear what you think. Of course, we had to talk about Mario landing himself in the “friend zone,” plus that Star Fox cameo… which wasn’t all that surprising. Sometimes, certain things are better left unspoiled before a film drops. The crew dives into all of it and as always, we close things out with the big question, Was It Good Though?

Of course we had to include the final season of The Boys in our Side Quest Reviews, and this season is already making a loud statement. It’s holding up a mirror to a lot of what’s happening in the real world, taking “art imitates life” to a whole new level.
In this review, we break down Episodes 1–3, highlighting who we’ve lost, who’s heading down a darker path, and where we think this final season is headed. Was it a mistake for Butcher to kill Victoria? Who will ultimately take down Homelander? And does Sage have a bigger plan in motion? We also had to pour one out for a “Day-One-Supe” we lost. Drop your thoughts on how you think this season will end, and whether it’s setting us up for Gen V Season 3. Be sure to subscribe so you get pinged when we drop our weekly reviews.
