For Episode 48, we’re taking our talents up to space, we're reviewing the final movie within this trilogy or so we think, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Appreciation and respect to what James Gunn has brought to these films. We revisit our Top MCU Trilogy and Villains discussions, along with all the Easter eggs connections or callbacks from the previous films. Since this episode was recorded on Cinco De Mayo, celebration shots were taken throughout the review, but we were still able to answer the most important question, Was It Good Though?
We conclude our “Coke Chronicles” with the last five episodes from Snowfall Season 6 on a sad but appreciative note in Episode 47. Our host both agree this series ended in a way that was unexpected but appreciated the end result. Respect and kudos were giving to not only the talent in front of the camera but also those behind the pen. We discuss how arrogance, greed, and ego were the main things driving Franklin, Louie, and Reid in one way or another. In the end, those are the things that resulted in all of their downfalls. It was refreshing to see some of our loyal day one characters get a happy ending, which in a series like this, it is extremely rare. We say, “Goodbye” to the Saint family but excited for the possible spin-off that is expected to arrive with Wanda having a lead role.
For Episode 46, we continue our “Coke Chronicles” with the first 5 episodes from Snowfall Season 6. We’re down a host but Jason and Jazz held things together, brick by brick. Franklin Saint would be proud or at least want to borrow about 74mil dollars. A value that was echoed throughout these first five episodes. We discuss the various decisions made by our main characters, the importance of family, and how gifts from Ghana aren’t really appreciated. Jason updates his "True Villain" ranking from the show and Jazz realizes defending Louie is a failed mission.
The crew is back this week for Episode 44! This week we're reviewing into John Wick: Chapter 4, this most recent installment in the John Wick franchise starring Keanu Reeves. We deep dive into Mr. Wick's latest quest for revenge as he travels from New York to Paris to Tokyo. We discuss trackers, bulletproof suits, and how much money we'd take to turn in John Wick. Mortal Kombat references, our main character's dialog (or lack thereof) and we do a way too soon ranking of the movies in the series so far. Of course we answer the main question: Was it Good Though?
