Hello spooky friends! This episode is going to surround one of the most iconic landscapes in the state of Oregon, Multnomah falls. We are going to look into a brief history, a powerful tale, and a handful of recorded tragedies that have occurred at this beautiful waterfall. And since November is also Native American Heritage Month, I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to speak about the Multnomah tribe and their heartbreaking and beautiful legend surrounding this grand land. I hope you enjoy!!

Welcome to this Pacific Northwest born and based podcast, Was It The Rain? A PNW spooky pod! I'm your host Elieen and I'm so excited to introduce you to this podcast centered around all things PNW, from cryptids and conspiracies, to murderers and ghost stories. It has been asked time and time again, was it simply wrong place, wrong time for the region of the PNW to be home to all things spooky, or does the constant overcast of gray wetness set the perfect scene? Together, we are going to explore if the PNW was always destined to be the perfect setting to all things eerie, or, was it the rain?
