We're joined by Laila Thaker of Ilbijerri Theatre to discuss representation and collaboration with and within First Nations’ Theatres and how attitudes to acting and theatre-making have changed in the course of her career as an artist.

This week we're joined by independent theatre maker and educator Joachim Matschoss, who takes us through his journey from working with the European theatre masters to creating his own work in Australia and internationally. We cover a wide range of topics, from the importance of fidelity to the script, the challenges of making theatre in Australia and what the future of the independent scene could look like.
