Even though he played in Washington for 4 years he only really had one season of success. He then left and went on to win a Super Bowl and have 3 consecutive 4k yard season. Even though he had greater success after leaving Washington (and after his playing days), Todd Bowles was a solid member of the Washington Redskins. He played Free Safety in his playing days and continued that knowledge as a DC, defensive backs coach and eventual Head Coach in the league. Tune in as Sean brings back Throwback Thursday. This show falls on the 16th and thus we are covering Stan Humphries. Now although he's the the first guy that comes to mind when I think about the #16 in Washington, he didn't do much there. He was, however, apart of the Redskins 1991 Super Bowl winning team. In fact he's actually the topic to this week's Freaky Friday (players that had greater success elsewhere) for his success after leaving. After leaving Washington, Stan Humphries went to the San Diego Chargers. In San Diego he had a ton more success and returned to the Big Game...this time as the starter.
