Wasting Time

This week, Chris, Beth and Matt talk some of their favorite shows now available on streaming services.

Chris, Beth and Matt talk about learning some new skills.

Chris, Matt and Beth discuss what they've been reading recently.

Welcome to this week’s episode of Wasting Time!

Before starting this podcast, Chris, Beth and Matt co-hosted a bimonthly series called “It’s My Favorite,” in which they talked about their favorite pop culture offerings of the month. To honor the past, each month they’re doing an “It’s Our Favorite” episode, where they talk about the film, TV, books and other items they’re enjoying. This month:

Matt talks about Netflix’s comic book adaptation “The Umbrella Academy”

Beth raves about Rami Malek’s Oscar-winning turn in “Bohemian Rhapsody”

Chris revels in the mob confessions of the book “I Heard You Paint Houses,” which is the inspiration for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film, “The Irishman.”

Mo’ money, mo’ options.

This week, Chris, Beth and Matt dream about winning the lottery. Specifically, they talk about what they would do, work-wise, if they cashed in big time. Would they quit their jobs? Spend big? Go into business for themselves?

And listeners, what would you do?

Give it a listen and then contact us on Facebook with your comments!

Hey everyone! Welcome to “Wasting Time,” a new podcast featuring Chris Williams, Beth Golpe and Matt December. This is going to be a weekly look at pop culture, life and everything else by three friends, who previously co-hosted the podcast “It’s My Favorite!”. Episodes will drop weekly on Wednesdays and cover a variety of topics!

This week, we’re talking about “Leaving Neverland,” the HBO documentary about Michael Jackson the men who accuse him of sexual abuse. Did we find the documentary believable? Can we listen to Michael Jackson’s music again? Is there a way to separate the art from the artist? Join in and share your thoughts on Twitter or Facebook! And join us next week for another, hopefully lighter, conversation!

Thank you for listening and we hope you’ll subscribe and keep wasting time with us!
