Justin Tanner is a seasoned government relations professional with over a decade of experience at the intersection of government, policy, and tech.  He is currently a Director of State & Local Government Affairs for a Fortune 20 Tech Company.  Prior, Justin was the Executive Director of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc., a White House appointee in the Obama Administration , and a mayoral appointee in the Reed Administration with the City of Atlanta.

During his tenure as an Obama (@barackobama) appointee, Justin completed The White House: Economic Leadership Workshop.  He has participated in The Aspen Institute’s Socrates Program, and is a graduate of LEAD Atlanta, and Leadership Buckhead.  

Justin received a bachelor of business administration degree from Howard University and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. While matriculating at Howard, he became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (@officialoppf) – Alpha Chapter.  Justin and his wife Christina live in Northwest, Atlanta.
