Today we discuss A Plague Tale: Innocence, developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive. A Plague Tale: Innocence is about a PLAGUE in 1348 France where Amicia de Rune embarks on a journey to save her brother Hugo de Rune from an unknown illness - the macula - that her mom was trying to protect him from before being murdered along with her father and their entire estate by the Inquisition.
A timely game we played during our very own pandemic, A Plague Tale: Innocence had us wondering: Have our attitudes and approach towards illnesses changed much since the 1400s, and if so, how? Do we attach attributes to those who get sick today like we have historically? The only unambiguous question, though, is whether rats are gross. Yes they are.
