  • S2 Ep 0 – “Conversation” with Bible Characters – Introduction

When Paul the Apostle was using the experience of the children of Israel in the Old Testament to urge the Corinthian church to pursue godliness he said, “Now all these things happened to them (Israelites) as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come” (1 Cor 10:13). Paul used the story of the Israelites as a basis for his admonishment because he believed that, as a people chosen and called to be the light of the world, Christians could draw from Israel’s failures and experiences to bear faithful witness to God’s reign on earth. It has been about two thousand years since Paul wrote his letter and his story and that of the New Testament characters are now contained in the Christian Scripture (the Bible) to help Christians glean lessons from believers' journey with God in the past. In this season’s podcast, Ebenezer seeks to create "conversation scenarios" with some of the characters in the Bible to help his audience appreciate their story better and exhort them on faithful Christian witness. In this introductory episode, he explicates the purpose of this season’s innovative project and how his audience can benefit from it.

  • Watch & Walk Podcast Ep 50 - Celebrating "Mass" with Christ

Christmas reminds us of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Goodnews of the salvation He offers to those who trust in Him as their Savior and Lord. Unfortunately, many people mark this occasion with joyous activities without any reference to the person of Jesus Christ or the Goodnews He has brought to humanity. These people prefer chats, songs, and events about the Baby Jesus to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. In this final episode of Watch Walk Podcast (Season 1) Ebenezer uses ideas from a passage from the Gospel of Luke chapter 2 to explain why one needs to make a personal relationship with Jesus the foundation for his or her celebration of, and conversations about, Christmas. We hope this message will encourage you to build a relationship with Jesus Christ in this Advent season.

  • Watch & Walk Podcast Ep 49 - Legitimacy of Confrontation Pt 2

Scripture encourages Christians to rebuke their brothers and sisters when they wander from the truth (Lk 17:3, 1 Tim 5:20, Jas 5:19-20). Scripture also warns Christians against passing judgments on people (Matt 7:1-2, Rom, 14:10, 1 Cor 4:5). One may wonder how Christians can confront sin without being judgmental. In this concluding part of their conversation, Ebenezer and Dr. Samuel Tinagyei talk more about how the concept of “legitimacy of confrontation” can help one to effectively address this question. We hope this episode will give you helpful ideas on how to address sin in people’s lives.

  • Watch & Walk Podcast Ep 48 - Legitimacy of Confrontation Pt 1

Scripture encourages Christians to rebuke their brothers and sisters when they wander from the truth (Lk 17:3, 1 Tim 5:20, Jas 5:19-20).
