Every man here plays a vital role in modeling the Father’ Love, Grace and Truth to the next generation(s). We are to be spiritual uncles, really spiritual fathers. Certainly, God is not just a male. We are made in God’s image, and in that relational image, male and female he created (Gen. 1:27). That said, the language Jesus, the Bible and history uses to identify the first person of the Trinity is… God the Father.

What then is the path any spiritual father?

In the upper room, people pray.

Their intercessions leads them to the public square…  

The Holy Spirit comes down at Pentecost.

The Presence and Power fills the air… 



The beginning Church is convicted while comforted. Becoming One… everything they share.

In so many ways, we are the bridge builders between God and our hopeless, hurting world. There is much art, ideas and entertainment that demonstrate an aspect of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Ie. Community, Longing, Redemption, Etc). These can be used to build a bridge to the greater truth of King Jesus. Look around. God has given so much to build bridges to His goodness, beauty, truth and ultimately to Himself.

One of the most difficult aspects of being in the church is being confronted by those excessively engrossed in our socio-political milieu: The fear. The taking of sides. The hatred. The inability to see one another as image bearers.

Because of this, many leaders and others have left the church.

What if there are powers working beneath the powers vying for power? Please listen as we discuss the dark forces that influence our cultural conversations.

As a man, the birth of a child is a humbling experience. He wants to help but ultimately it's out of his control. As the mom (and certainly God) do the heavy lifting, the dad could only pray and make himself readily available to serve.

Could our prayer and availability be what's needed most in the church? What if our leaders were marked by these qualities? Prayer. Availability. Perhaps, W.E. would see spiritual reproduction at its best.

“You can be right and still be wrong.” This is one of those catchy phrases that—if well received—could end wars.

When we place being “right” over the relationship,

… have we won anything?

… or lost someone(s)?

Who are you experiencing conflict with? have a listen W.E. look at how God works through disagreements and separation in order to bring eventual restoration.

More times than not, Individual Discerners need a Discerning Community. To hear from God, I almost certainly need you. You almost certainly need me. We all certainly need God. What is vital in the process in discernment? What is vital in a discerning community?

In light of all the social division today, the peace we receive from the cross moves us across _________ (and you fill in the blank). The peace of the cross moves us across _______ ie. bitter disagreements, social divisions, family fragmentation, Church hurt, work problems, the roommates’ dishes, etc.

The Roman cross has a vertical column and a horizontal beam. Jesus dies so that we would have peace with God (vertical). Jesus rises so that we could be peacemakers (horizontal) with God.

Peace with God. Peace with others.

Love God. Love others.
