and, it will likely not cover anyone's expectations as this is a socially volatile conversation. Our hope is that we come in surrendered and allow God to continue this conversation with us beyond Sunday as we seek to love God and others in Christ.

The mystery of tragedy is that our all-loving, all-powerful crucified Savior weeps with us as we mourn.

When others mourn, here is a good reminder of what to do and... what not to do or say.

So how do W.E. listen as a people of God?

Rediscover God as our lovely and loving friend (Matt. 17:7-8).

This means when you hear the questions “What is God saying to you?” also means “What is your dear Friend saying to you?”

Jesus (the Son of Man) will reward each person according to what they have done.

Well, what is our reward?

God.

One another.

The ability to serve.

A meal among friends.

What else is there?

Belonging.

Love.

Do we need more?

Jesus: For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it (Matt. 16:25).

What happens when we “write others off”?

We miss…

Seeking to get away to grieve, our Lord witnesses the grief of others. He creates a “fellowship of suffering.” Through compassion, Jesus makes himself available for others.

Then, our God feeds them. Everyone has their fill.

Your life is designed to be God’s good and reproductive work that God is carrying to completion. This is cause for hope and celebration. God’s hand in your life is worth sharing with others.

Le's reflect on one of the most important parables of Jesus (Matt. 13:1-23).

As we live in Christ, we live in light of God being with us, in us. Like Moses, we can take off our shoes in order to revere the God of our everyday and every place.

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground” (Ex. 3:5).
