Wattpad After Dark

In chapters 11 and 12 of It All Started With a Dare, Elle and Ashton's mom randomly returns, Elle continues to describe outfits only with pictures, for some reason, in the middle of dinner it's of the utmost importance that some boxes with unknown contents are retrieved, and we get to hear Rae learn that, yes, we have been dropping the F bomb throughout this podcast.

In chapters 7 and 8, it gets kinda heavy, y'all. We read about an extremely foreshadowed shortcut, lots of popcorn, and learn about their dad some!

We will be releasing a new episode tomorrow as a (hopefully) palette cleanser!

Content warning:

Chapter 7: Assault/attempted rape

Chapter 8: Death, self harm, suicidal ideation

If you or anyone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, you can call the (U.S.) national suicide prevention hotline at 1-800-273-8255. Please tell someone, you are not alone!

New format alert! We are starting to read two chapters per episode because the chapters have been extremely short, so now you get to hear Kat and Rae both each episode!

In chapters 5 and 6, we learn some wild new information about Ella and Ashton's age gap, get some more very confusing drama from Ella regarding Damien, an apparently extraordinary, new Sharpay Evens level, look from Ella, and some truly f the patriarchy comments about her, very non-revealing, outfit.

In chapter four, Rae reads about more Damien drama and a new potential boy, as well as finding some parallels between Ella and Kat's meal habits.

Thanks for listening!

We're back! In episode 3, Kat and Rae tackle chapter 3 of It All Started with a Dare. Kat gets to read about some Damien action, suspiciously pirate-like phrases, and an extraordinarily chill brother... all while being exhausted and confused.

In Episode 2, Rae gets the joy of reading about a very strange game of maybe truth or dare and maybe spin the bottle, there's no way to know. We also get to experience the weirdness of people eating each other's faces off and tiny people dancing in stomachs.

***TRIGGER WARNING*** There are suggestions of sexual assault in this chapter. There is a warning before we read any of it.

In episode 1, Kat and Rae tackle chapter 1 of It All Started with a Dare. Kat gets to read about a girl who maybe has a broken hip, 800 high schoolers swooning at once, and a surfer dude who has a drink bar in his mansion... it's a little bit of a doozy.
