Now, more than ever, the Church needs to come together. Locally, in our country, and globally. The best way to bring healing to a divided Church is to fight together, as equals, for something of worth. Choosing the right things. Not choosing individualism and consumerism, but choosing the Church. We all have different roles and different jobs, but compared to God, our differences are tiny. When we remember that we are all children of God, pride is eliminated. We are all in this together. If you are going to fight for something in this world, fight together for something that is really valuable. "The Church is the Bride of Christ, be wary of anyone who speaks ill of her." The Church - the people - is valuable. Fight for the Church. Embrace the fight.

We are now in our third week of our series in 1 Corinthians. Ludicrous - something so foolish and so unreasonable that it's absurd. It's exactly BECAUSE it's so absurd that the Gospel is so powerful.
