In the face of injustice, hold fast to Christ, stay the course, don’t quit, because the judge is standing at the door!

In light of eternity, humble yourself before a sovereign God.

The world offers an ungodly alternative to our godly affections and to be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Christians are radically different than the world in which they live.

The tongue cannot be tamed until the heart is transformed. Until the heart is changed, the tongue will never be controlled.

Faith alone saves, but saving faith is never alone.

The Gospel is impartial and manifests itself in love to others.

The structure of this passage is all Word-based. We are to listen to the Word, respond to the Word, and live out the Word.

Trials are a fact of life.  We all experience them.  Yet joy can be found in the midst of trials when we see things from God's perspective.  There is purpose behind the suffering.  We see from this passage that God is generous, impartial, good, unchanging, and he can be trusted even when we don't understand His purposes.  We can "count it all joy."
