Easter season is an appropriate time to discuss the events of the death and resurrection of Christ. This event is the cornerstone of the bible, and no part of the bible is attacked as much as this. There are certainly many apparent discrepancies, but we will see over this 6 week discussion, that every difficulty has an explanation. We begin with the events of the Last Supper.

Those who criticize the bible and assert that it was made up later, point to different accounts of Jesus' statements which portray a Jesus who seems to disagree with Himself.

Critics of the bible often do not understand the point of Jesus establishing a new covenant, but beyond these types of statements, some statements of Jesus seem directly at odds with established concepts of the Old Testament.

Even among Christians, there have been a variety of opinions on the exact identity of Christ. Non-Christians see these differences as evidence that the bible is contradictory

One of the least exciting discussions in the bible is genealogy. We begin the discussion of Christ, by exploring what seems to be two family histories that cannot be reconciled. We also explore some of the explanations that inaccurately seek to harmonize the two accounts.

'Righteousness' is a word that means fair and just. Do the scriptures really support that God does things fairly, or is he biased?

We start the discussion of God's Character, by questioning his goodness. This is probably the most attacked part of God and the bible. Is God really good? Why do the scriptures seem so opposite on his character?

Immutability is a fancy word that means '"God doesn't change", but is it true. We look at some of the common passages that seem to contradict this nature of God.

Is the God of the bible really all-powerful? How do we reconcile verses that seem to suggest that God is not completely capable to control humanity and nature?
