I made this track after a lesson with OkayJake. A few years ago, I had the chance to open for him and Tape B in Memphis, which was a really dope experience. I've been a fan of his ever since.

During our lesson, he really emphasized the importance of letting go and not overthinking everything. He stressed not getting too attached to songs, and that really resonated with me-just letting the music flow instead of forcing it.

With this track, I focused less on music theory and more on feeling it out. I hope that comes through for the listener.

Sorry I've been gone so long. I'll make it up to y'all this year starting with this track featuring a rapper I've known since my freshman year of college. It was honor to have him spit on this track and I think he absolutely killed it. Lyrics are below!

The game ain’t changed it’s feeling the same it look like the same old two step

Gold in my veins I leave no remains I walk around like who’s next

Euphoria a warrior I put ya to sleep I’m the new Steph

I roll up the tallies I stay with some baddies the homies be calling me Hugh Hef

I got it the dark knight I hop out it woo

We Rottweilers we getting them bags the top dollars

You know we hanging with hot models light up the gas and pop bottles

Just don’t worry because I got it just don’t worry because I got it

In the lab with Waweezy yeah so blessed like I’m sneezy yeah

Too fresh like Febreze in here double shots too teed in here

Partying all night long no telling when we leaving

Going hard all season game over too easy

I know I been sleep but all the deceit been channeling me and woke up a beast

Shorty petite but she got some meat so I’ma just eat like bon appétit

Been running the streets so let’s keep the peace

Before I let all my dogs off the leash

They grinning they teeth they run up and feast

And let the scavengers have a feast

In the lab with Waweezy yeah so blessed like I’m sneezy yeah

Too fresh like Febreze in here double shots too teed in here

Partying all night long no telling when we leaving

Going hard all season game over too easy

Last track of the year. This is a more chill track, not really meant to be too crazy. I think sometimes in order to fly you just have to jump and take a leap of faith. What do you think?

Thanks for all the support this year, it really means the world to me. I’m taking a few months off to learn some new tricks then I’m starting on my first EP. See ya then!

I’ve always wanted to make a track like this ever since I started producing. Tracks like this are what got me into the scene back in the early 2010’s. I hope this gives you a rush of energy and makes you dominate whatever you’re up to.

First track of the year is a heavy bass track inspired by Mersiv’s song Ghosts. This song is featuring DiffyG, a dope vocalist that resides in Nashville, TN. I'll link her below w/ the lyrics.

Spirals of pain and love.

The aggression of a loving hug.

The tears are sweet like poison.

And still I run back to you.

The sorcery you've woven has entrapped my heart.

I try and escape, but I break when we're apart.

As your spell puts me back together, the cracks are starting to remain.

I don't know how I can but I'll continue through the pain.

Spirals of pain and love.

The saddness of a loosening hug.

The promise of forever has now ended.

And still I run back to you.

You fed me the potion that made me fall, and kept me in a tower where I built up walls.

Spirals of pain and love.

The aggression of a hug.

The tears are sweet like poison.

And still I run back to you.
