To refuse the claims that God would make on us, the caretakers He has created to tend His vineyard, is to murder Jesus.  The world has been trying to kill God from the beginning, and they succeeded on the cross, but they could not keep Him dead.

If our faithfulness is directed toward God, Jesus promises that not only the work of our hands, but human nature itself can become unbounded.

Following Jesus is often less about striving for something and more often about not striving against God.

Jesus is not after piety or wealth or legacies or ministries or buildings or perfect pitch or unbridled emotions or...  Jesus wants us to live out our trust in Him and to be faithful.
