The Hostile Territory series returns to the Way Outta Here! podcast with a visit to WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, WV, home of the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers. Steve took his family to attend their game against the Reading Royals, an affiliate of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Philadelphia Flyers. Some spirited minor league hockey in an old barn was much enjoyed, regardless of the outcome on the ice. Listen for details on the experience, including a dust-up with a mascot!

The Eagles are facing the Washington Commanders tomorrow night, almost 14 years to the day of one of the most epic beatdowns in NFL history that took place between these two teams on a rainy Monday night in Landover, MD. Michael Vick was responsible for 6 total touchdowns and 4 different Eagles recorded touchdown receptions in a record-setting performance. Steve re-watched the highlights and recalls his emotions during that game, and looks forward to what hopefully will be another compelling primetime matchup between these two teams on Thursday. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone's got one. Fresh off an embarrassing Phillies choke job in the 2024 NLDS, Steve decided he needed to vent some frustration.
