Ever heard of Florida Fishing Products? If you haven't, you will. These young entrepreneurs are doing some great things in the saltwater fishing space (including giving back and making an impact for the future of our fisheries). Awesome story!

I got a message where the person said they thought they were putting a lot of pressure on tarpon and the guide said: "you have to start putting pressure on the tarpon, you are putting no pressure on it." So I think I'll quickly go over this, it could for sure be a full-length episode but here are some quick points on how to put pressure on tarpon. 

Imagine paddling (or peddling as the case may be) 2+ miles out into the Pacific Ocean with nothing between you and Hawaii. Surrounded by playful dolphins, sea lions, and seals. Then battling monster halibut, or if you're really lucky, a maybe a Yellowfin Tuna...all from a kayak! 

It seems like the popularity of kayak fishing is spreading like wildfire. Host Angie Scott recently had an opportunity to visit the Hobie Cat world headquarters in Oceanside, CA and then got to experience the scene described above 1st hand! Expert guide Kevin Nakada, a.k.a. the Sea Samurai leads the way.
