In this episode, we have on Guy Harvey Resort bass pro Capt. Scott Taylor to talk all about catching largemouth bass this winter (in particular, central Florida bass). I have been getting a lot of questions recently about the little ones, the kiddos. So I thought I would do a podcast today on how to create a fishing buddy for life. Here are some tips on getting kids interested in fishing so you have someone who will always want to go fishing with you.
Welcome to the final episode in our Women on Ice Series before the big event takes place up in Bayfield, WI on Lake Superior. To top it off, we’re featuring none other than Hannah Stonehouse Hudson. Hannah has quite a story, and to say that this year’s event is extra meaningful for her would be a gross understatement. We’ve wanted to have her on the show for quite a while and sometimes things work out just as they’re supposed to. There couldn’t be a more perfect time to share Hannah’s story with all of you than right now. We hope that it touches you and inspires you to face your fears!
Be sure and stay tuned to our Woman Angler & Adventurer Facebook Group for behind-the-scenes video and updates from Lake Superior and we’ll be back with you here next week with audio and a recap from the event itself!
We’re so glad you’re coming along with us on this adventure!

Early season whitetail hunting in the Midwest. Living in the Midwest, Ralph and Vicki are intimately aware of the big bucks that live there. In this episode, we will talk with Ralph and Vicki and discuss how they approach hunting early season bucks in the Midwest. We will look at patterning early season bucks, tree stand/ground blind setups, and much more.
Matt and Kyle are avid goal setters at the beginning of the year. Matt describes that on New Year’s Eve, he and his family sit at the table together, and write down their goals for the year ahead. As a family, they talk about the resolutions they have for themselves, and for everyone else. We all thought creating a Dream Board is a good idea, especially for families. To make a Dream Board, have a poster board, and a bunch of magazines. Think of places you want to go, or any goals you have for this year. With that in mind, cut out any pictures, or words, in those magazines that match your ideas. Glue or tape on your cut-outs to the poster board, and you have a Dream Board. If you make a Dream Board for your family, hang it up in the garage, or near the front door, where everyone can see it every day. If you make your own Dream Board, maybe hang it up in the closet or bathroom.
In this episode, we have on Tom Rowland (host and producer of Saltwater Experience) to discuss where he believes fishing television is headed, how the TV networks are responding, how the fishing sponsors are responding, and how the TV show producers are responding. Listen in now.
If you listened to the last podcast you heard me talk about how to pick out a boat. Right after the podcast I got some emails about how to learn how to navigate. So that was what I picked to talk about today.
If you are learning a new area for fishing or a tournament there are some tricks that you can use, as well as some new tools. Check out todays podcast on How To Navigate A New Area.
