This week we talk to Eric Dinger of Powderhook, an app that is designed to help create new hunters to combat low recruitment and retention numbers.
Chad Conely is a trout possessed entrepreneur and business owner. Overcoming poverty, Chad was able to join the Marines, get a 4 year degree and design a life that he wants. He now owns a very successful company and is able to fish as many days as he wants.
Through a positive attitude, incredible work ethic and attention to whether he was living his life with a "victim mindset" or not, Chad was able to break the chain of poverty, addiction and abuse that ran through his family and create a life with a much different outcome.
Tom Rowland sits down with Chad to find out what factors and influences helped him to change his mindset and program himself for success. Along the way, Chad has remained true to himself and budgets time for him to experience Flyfishing in the North Georgia mountains.
In this episode, we reveal the implications that politics (and the politicians that we elect) can have on our fisheries, waterways, and the sport we love. We don't get into finger pointing individual politicians (because that doesn't solve anything), but we do discuss some of hot topics that could impact our kids, grandkids, etc.
Coach Ethan Reeve joins Tom to tell you how to use his training philosophy of Density Training to set a new personal record on pullups. Density training is a philosophy that Coach Reeve pioneered and has used effectively at University of Tennessee Chattanooga, McCallie School, Wake Forest and with many National teams in different sports.
The philosophy is simple but incredibly effective. It can be applied to Olympic athletes or someone recovering from a knee replacement.
Learn how you can apply it to increase your pullups from 5 to 20 or from 1 to 10. The same principles can be applied to any exercise.
Learn more about Density Training by researching Ethan Reeve Density Training. His new website will be up shortly and we will link.
Until next time,
Tom Rowland
