We discuss how hard it's been to find a producer who is willing to make music the way Jenn wants to. They have tried to tell her to sing differently, show more skin & make music that will "sell." Jenn talks about how she hasn't compromised, and how she finally, recently, found producers who made music the way she wanted to. Her music has reached 1 million hits on Spotify, some of her music that she wrote when she was 16 was chosen to be the soundtrack for a Netflix series, she's written songs on EFY albums, and moved from one end of the country to the other with her husband making connections and chasing her dreams. I wanted to interview Erika because I am a new parent and I was extremely surprised at how much harder it is to get outside than I thought it would be. I follow her on Instagram and I noticed that she was outside on walks or hikes with her son pretty much every day. She talks to us about her own experience as a new mom and getting outside, and how she is completing a 1000 hours outside challenge this year.
