Tech is booming in Queens. And the Queens Chamber wants to keep it that way. The borough's largest business association has launched the Queens Innovation Foundation. This new foundation will be accelerating the growth of the tech sector in the borough and establishing it as an epicenter of AI-fueled start-ups and emerging tech companies.
Through the foundation, the Queens Chamber aims to raise 40 million dollars to launch what they're calling the World Innovation Center — a collection of programs to help expand the Queens tech incubation program and offer capital and other support to participating start-ups. It will also be creating programs to incentivize international and domestic companies seeking to relocate to Queens.
