The North Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors voted to approve and implement the proposed three-class basketball plan for the 2023-24 school year at a special meeting held at NDHSAA headquarters Wednesday, Feb. 8.

The board unanimously approved the revised three-class basketball plan that was presented to member schools last month.

Decontee Smith is the leading scorer for Central Cass this season, but a few months ago she thought she may never play again.

Smith was getting ready for playoff volleyball, when a routine check-up uncovered some unsettling news…

"They found that my heart was like, irregular." said the senior forward "Especially for like me being active in stuff. So then my doctor basically told me, I couldn't do anything for like two weeks with a heart monitor on."

At Sheyenne, the boys wrestling team is taking the concept of 'brotherhood' to a whole new level. The team has four sets of brothers… more than half the wrestlers in the starting lineup are joined by their siblings.

Harrison Butker kicked the Kansas City Chiefs back to the Super Bowl.

Butker made a 45-yard field goal and the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-20, to win the AFC Championship for the third time in the past four seasons on Sunday in Kansas City.
