Minnesota State Moorhead now has a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men's basketball tournament crown, and the sixth time proved to be the charm.
Jaden Stanley-Williams scored 15 points to help lift the Dragons to an 81-73 victory against No. 12-ranked Minnesota Duluth for the conference tournament title Tuesday at the Sanford Pentagon.
"That we're able to do this for the first time in school history, it means so much because this is a great program we have," said Dragons freshman guard Jacob Beeninga. "It's a great school, great support. This is a university-wide championship. This is amazing."
