Once there, look for Star Command- Home of the Universe Protection Unit. The exterior of Star Command will have a sign reading Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! When you arrive to take on Zurg you may find you are not alone. The Space Ranger program is very popular and lines may run 20 minutes to more than 1 hour during peak enrollment. The past few weeks, we have been making our way through Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. Today we are staying in the fairy tale land and going back to the beginning to discover an opening day ride. Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid is a modern day take on the classic Disney dark ride. You will get to relive the 1989 animated film when you climb aboard your clamshell omnimover vehicle.

Heigh ho, heigh ho, it’s off to ride we go! Say hello to this sparkling gem at the center of Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is equal parts roller coaster and Disney dark ride with a modern twist. This short, but sweet family fun mine train is a can’t miss ride in the heart of the park.

I love exploring all the different options and figuring out a way to enjoy as much as possible each time I visit Walt Disney World. Today’s show is one I have added to my list many times, but one I have omitted on my most recent trips. I have a lot to say about the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

If you have ever been to Walt Disney World before, chances are pretty good you have utilized “the highway in the sky,” known as the Walt Disney World Monorail System. Repeat riders have fallen in love with the voice of Jack Wagner as he instructs passengers to “please stand clear of the doors,” a phrase narrated in English and repeated in Spanish. It is the Spanish version that I think most riders find so fun, the way the words roll off the tongue as the doors gently close in front of you. Some love this minutia of Disney so much that you can find t-shirts, hats, and coffee mugs sporting the phrase.

The past two weeks we have covered the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. We discovered there are so many things going on during the 90 day ode to nature, including topiaries, gardens, educational speakers, rock concerts, outdoor kitchens, and special tours. One of the tours we mentioned last week was Behind the Seeds. This tour isn’t offered just during the festival, but is available year round. The last time I was in the park I had the opportunity to go backstage and see just what is behind the seeds at Living With the Land! Today, I’m happy to share that experience with you.
