Lochlyn and Lauren spend a long time discussing the worst and best parts of the underworld in this episode.  Unfortunately, they still managed to miss what would have been the joke of the season, so insert your own Sandals Resort/The Office joke for the Isle of the Blest. There are also questions about gatekeeping for Elysium and the legitimacy of the entire system.  Lochlyn and Lauren want much more detail about different aspects of the Underworld, but all in all, the main lesson from this episode is to improve your core strength in case your shoes become sentient and try to kill you.

In this episode of We Accidentally Vaporized Our Podcast Lauren and Lochlyn almost get into a fight! Lochlyn gives her the stink eye and Lauren retreats. They talk about conspiracy theories surrounding one of our favorite characters: Annabeth. They also present some plans that Percy and the Trio should have followed, that unfortunately, they didn't. Lauren also says the word "water" weirdly (seriously how did I not know how weirdly I said it?) and Lochlyn professes her hatred of the god who is buying them cheeseburgers. This week, Lochlyn and Lauren discuss the trio's visit to the Garden Gnome Emporium!  In this episode, they learn the importance of listening to your friends and utilizing found objects in your environment.  They once again consider satyrs and their interactions with other animal species and go on several other tangents (which is to be expected at this point).  Lochlyn is just now realizing the lack of Uma Thurman references and is very disappointed in this recording; hopefully, you will still enjoy it in spite of that!

Quest time!! Percy, Annabeth and Grover are venturing out into the world with no supervision. Of course, things go wrong and danger and action ensue.  This week's detours include a return to the finances of camp, cellphones, childhood classroom technology and fanny packs.  We do eventually get back around to the main event of the chapter: bus ruining.
