He was my customer, and I was his favorite cashier. We laughed together, we joked, we both moved to Minneapolis to better our life's, so we could be better men. He was a father, he was a brother, cousin, fiance, a good worker, and so much more. On memorial day of 2020, a unarmed black man was publicly killed by Minneapolis police. That man name was George Floyd, and I knew him as Floyd.
