Nick Shirley is at it again, and I am SAT. Thankfully, we know that Nick is back home and safe after a wild trip to Cuba. After Hasan Piker called it one of his favorite places, I’m grateful for people like Nick who are actually showing what this communist country is truly like.

Back in 2017, wait no 2016, I had the opportunity to travel to Cuba through school and see some of the struggles the people go through every day. The “universal healthcare” and grocery limits were just the beginning. 

Every day, I become more and more grateful for Nick Shirley and others out there seeking the truth. In a world where everyone wants to be the first and the loudest, it’s so important to listen to the voices that are getting to the bottom of things and helping make sense of this insane, upside-down world.
