We Are Not Alone

It's Christmas eve, and here's Robert Ancilliary again with the final of our three scary stories, and he's managed to come up with something that has nothing whatever to do with Christmas. Today's story is about a pot of water, which is about as scary as it can get, I'm sure you'll agree.

We're following the exploits of Eileen Smith, the pioneer behind the first manned voyage into space, and watch voyeuristically as the whole thing goes up in smoke. Well, comes down in smoke, actually. We also explore the choices on offer when buying a new UFO, look into an expedition to Uranus, and consider the social life of the electron.

It's Episode 4. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? No? Well, maybe it's just me then. This month, we start our new paranormal answering service, bring back the ten second movie people, and follow the heroic Doctor Cal Meacham as he battles some seriously non-threatening extra terrestrials.

The year is 1953. Oh no, my mistake it's 2012. Gosh, I must have overslept. Well, anyway, there's an enormous silver saucer landing in Hyde Park, and no one seems to know quite what to do about it, we try to get to grips with the sophistication of the alien psyche, and mourn the passing of a great inventor.

Yes, it's episode 2, and we've reached the point where we can actually call it a series. There's rockets afoot in a Yorkshire village where a brass band, I mean rocket manufacturer is suffering when the government attempts to close down the space programme, we hear from a psychic in touch with the Venusians, and there was something else that was really easy to remember, but I can't quite recall. And none of it is politically motivated. At all.

Episode one of the new series of the 1950s science fiction sketch show. A mysterious field has descended upon the sleepy town of Midwich and is getting right in the way, a new series of "star patrol" kicks off with the emphasis on scientific accuracy, and we make a startling discovery under the pyramids.
