This Sunday at Way Church we had the joy of welcoming Rich Martin from York Church, who brought a powerful and faith-stirring message on God’s prosperity and the posture we’re called to carry as followers of Jesus.

Drawing from the miracle at the wedding in Cana; where Jesus turned water into wine. Rich reminded us that obedience to Jesus often precedes the breakthrough. When Mary told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you,” it unlocked a miracle of abundance far beyond what was needed, over 700 bottles’ worth. That’s the nature of our God: not just enough, but overflowing.

Rich challenged us to live with that same expectancy. God’s kindness leads us to transformation, but it’s our faith in action, our obedience, surrender and trust that makes space for the miraculous.

This was a timely reminder that when we listen, trust and respond to His voice, we position ourselves not only to witness miracles but to carry them. God is still turning water into wine, and He wants to do it through us.

This Sunday at Way Church was part of our Presence 25 conference. A weekend set apart to host, hear and truly encounter the presence of God. We had the joy of welcoming guest speaker Sarah Yardley from Emmaus Rd in Guildford, who brought a message full of power, warmth and the love of Jesus.Sarah spoke of what it means to live in the presence of God not just to experience it in a moment but to carry it in our lives. She reminded us that when we fast, we stir up hunger not for food but for Him. When we say yes to Jesus, we say yes to a life of transformation. His presence changes everything; our faces shine with joy, our hearts burn with purpose and our lives become testimonies of love.Through Scripture and Spirit, she gently invited us to prioritise presence, to live surrendered, and to remember that the heart of Christianity is not performance it’s love. Love for God. Love for others. Love that radiates and reflects His glory.The presence of God isn’t a place we visit. It’s a life we live.

This Sunday at Way Church Joy Moore delivered a powerful, joy-filled word on the beauty of childlike faith.

Drawing from the heart of Jesus, she reminded us that just as a child depends on their parent, we are called to fully depend on our Father in heaven. In every season through joy, confusion or challenges. We are His children, created to give thanks and glorify His name.

We weren’t made to carry it all, we were made to worship the One who does.

This Sunday at Way Church Chevon Taylor shared a stirring about a call to surrender everything at the feet of Jesus.

Through the story of a woman who gave all she had in worship, we were reminded that true love for Jesus holds nothing back. When we pour out our pain, our pride and our praise. He fills us with grace, healing and purpose.

God doesn’t want a portion of your life He wants all of you and when we give Him everything, we find the freedom our souls are longing for.

Chevon delivered a deeply powerful and tender message titled "The Joy Set Before Him." With raw honesty and spiritual clarity, she spoke into the heart of what it means to endure pain and suffering while still giving your all to God.

Chevon unpacked the mystery of how life can hold both joy and sorrow in the same breath, where one person is experiencing the highest of highs, and another the lowest of lows. Yet, in both God is fully present. She reminded us that even in seasons of hardship hidden treasures are found. The secret places where God’s grace, strength and nearness are revealed most deeply.

This message invites us to shift our perspective: to see trials not as signs of God's absence but as sacred ground where endurance is shaped, faith is refined and joy is set before us just as it was for Jesus.

Let this be a call to trust Him more deeply in the valley and to hold onto the truth that God never wastes pain. There is beauty in the breaking and purpose in the pressing.

This Sunday at Way Church Ben Tarbuck brought a stirring and empowering message for Fathering Sunday. Calling men to rise boldly as men of God in every area of life.

He reminded us that being a man of faith isn’t just about showing up on Sundays, it’s about walking in worship daily. Whether in our workplaces, homes, friendships or private battles. We’re called to reflect God’s strength, justice, humility and unwavering love. Drawing from powerful moments in Scripture we were shown how true manhood is marked not by pride or perfection but by surrender, courage and commitment to God’s call.

This message is a challenge and an encouragement to every man: Step up, stand firm, and be who God created you to be a light in the darkness, a warrior for truth, and a servant in love.

Jake Isaac opened the series with a bold and challenging message reminding us through the life of Job that God is not just a kind God, but a sovereign King. One who holds the universe in His hands and allows us to be tested, knowing we will stand.

Too often we question God, forgetting who He is and who we are. Jake challenged us to stop asking "why" and instead trust in the One who knows the end from the beginning.

She spoke about the narrow path that God calls us to walk, reminding us that the ways of the world often lead to destruction, but the path of God leads to life, peace, and purpose. It’s not always the easy road, and it’s rarely the popular one but it’s the way that brings us closer to the heart of the Father.

She shared how true wisdom comes from trusting God, not from following the noise of the world. It’s about walking by faith even when it feels lonely or hard, knowing that God’s way is higher, better and full of life.

This Sunday at Way Church, we closed our “Grace and Truth” series with a powerful and moving word from Ben Tarbuck on what it means to live in truth.

Ben gently challenged us to look beyond what we show on the outside. Sometimes we appear clean and composed but deep within we’re carrying things we’ve hidden even from ourselves. But nothing is hidden from God. He sees it all and still calls us closer.

This was a reminder that real faith isn’t about performance or appearance it’s about a deep, personal pursuit of God. It’s in the quiet places, in the private moments where truth is formed and where grace meets us fully.

Ben ended with five spiritual truths we’re called to carry as followers of Jesus: Love God. Love your neighbour. Love your enemy. Love your family. Love your church.
